About Frank L Sorbello Greenhouses
Frank L Sorbello Greenhouses is a greenhouse in Highland, New York. It is listed at 139 Martin Ave, Highland, NY 12528, which places it among the local businesses of Highland that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Highland, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in New York, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (845) 691-7828. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 40 reviews, which is a strong result for a greenhouse in Highland and suggests consistent service.
Highland is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Highland follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Sorebello's has become an instant tradition for my wife and I. We visited for the first time two years ago and the nursery has become our springtime must go to. The prices and selections are AWESOME. For flowers or vegetables you cannot beat Frank L Sorbello.

Huge variety of flowers and vegetables. And some offer choice of sizes. Very fair prices for healthy places. One great deal was about $5 for large pots of herbs vs $15 at Lowe’s. Only open mid-April-mid-June. 20% off EVERY thing the last 3 days in June.

A really nice selection of mostly annuals and veg starts. The employees are nice and very helpful. The plants are all in top condition. The prices are very good but I cannot remember how many plants were in a pack but they were $1.49, where else will you find that?! If you are only getting a few things there is a $20 minimum on credit cards so bring cash. (Most people I saw were grabbing armfuls of stuff and then being surprised at how much the total was, LOL). I believe Frank produces all the plants on the farm so you need to shop early and often because the inventory is finite.
